Man that tune is so inspiring... wtf why have I wasted my life exploring the secrets of the Universe with drugs?! I've got my life to live, I don't have time for that, I'm gonna give my best. Yeah that's where it's at. I've got my dreams to reach. I'm gonna make it there. I'm gonna stay drug-free, Yeah I'll take that dare.. YEAH!
Quote:
Here are some A+ better things to do than drugs: By Harley
Smell a flower, take a shower, read a book, learn to cook, get a good grade, sell lemonade, clean the dishes, swim with the fishes, play a sport, or build a sand fort, go to the beach, eat a peach, bake apple pies, comfort a baby when it cries, pet a dog, play leap frog, watch a movie, drink a fruit smoothie, eat snacks, play a game of jacks, go shopping and watch popcorn when it's popping.
When someone asks you to do drugs just simply say, I've got much too much to do today!
Go wash the dishes people, it's better than taking drugs!

lol man what a stupid song
I love how they sing about being free and making a choice for yourself and how others try to persuade you, opposite to what they try to achieve in that song and trying to persuading you, just like they preach against.
oh DARE how you have your head up your ass.

Yeah, but you ever CLEAN DISHES WHILE ON WEED?
Me neither.

To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

And just think, you're tax dollars paid for this terrible song.
Think of how high you could've gotten for the amount of money that was spent to produce this piece of crap.

What objects are you proposing to yourself? Are they the objects you really value? If they are not, you are cheating yourself. I don't meant that if you chose to pursue the objects you most value, you will attain them; of course not. Your experience will tell you that. But success in getting after much labor what you really don't care for is the bitterest and most ridiculous failure." -George Santayana

Has anyone seen that 'Sparkle Motion' scene in Donnie Darko? The song kinda reminds me of that, just very very cheesy. If you wanna turn people off drugs making yourself look like a big joke is not the way to do it.

Wow being a very talented musician coming from a family line of talented musicians I can accurately state that this song is horrible. It is horrible for the following reasons; #1 the mixing sucks, #2 the chorus is not a chorus in the aspect that it contains too much information to be considered a chorus, #3 the individuals in who sing within the song all suck besides the one woman who has moderate vocal ability, #4 in particular the rap section makes the song even worse due to the fact it doesn't fit with the song, unless you want to call it a bridge but even then the character of the vocal ruins it, #5 the lyrics of the song are very poorly put together as the lady singing the song can barely make it work within the context of the melody, #6 the cheesy chord progression leads much to be desired, #7 the mic placement of the drums is wrong, #8 I hear phase issues within the room the recording was done in, and finally #9 the overall message of the song is disenchanting.

Actually, I think most studies have concluded what a dismal failure this program is.
I think my 5th grade class was one of the first to go though the program some 17 years ago. I can't believe it's still funded.
