Perlite Question

Hey everyone...Happy New Year!!!

I need an answer, and I can't do a search at the moment, because I got DSL yesterday, and ever since then, it takes AOL an average of 2-3 mins. to open a page on this website...What's that all about??? I expected it to be faster, not slower...anyway, all my attempts are getting timed out, so since I managed to get this far I'll ask...

I'm wondering if perlite is ever used as the top casing layer??? Can it be mixed into the 50/50 mix or used straight to provide moisture, or is this a bad idea...AFOAF is having drying problems and asked me what I thought...I got no clue...Anyone???

no use in mixing perlite into the casing...

About the DSL line... why the hell are you using AOL if you have DSL?

I never claimed to be a computer wizard...I guess I'm supposed to be using the netscape browser now, which is a great deal faster, but how do I transfer all of my bookmarks and other aol stuff over to netscape???

Sorry for the "OFF TOPIC" question, but there it is...

and perlite is definately a no-no in casings???

yes, the perlite wouldn't do much, except maybe give a little more texture to the casing mixture or support for the growing mushys. I haven't done it no do I know anyone who has experimented with it. Just stick to 50/50 or 50/50+ then experiment later.

You can use any browser so long as it is configured properly. PM me and I'll attempt to help you with your connection.
