Martha Chamber, specific questions

Cray's recent post about expanding his grow got me going on this...
Okay, I know martha's have been covered very well by several users, but I had a couple of specific questions:
I am using this model, it's dimensions are: 67" H x 30" W x 19 1/2"

I was thinking of using this model vaoprizer:

I read this quick tek, http://www.mycotopia.net/site/article.php?24.255
Now, I read HippeChick's wonderful post on her "Grand Opening," THANK YOU HC FOR THE VERY DETAILED POSTS!!!!!! I was thinking of following the tek on mycotopia.net and using two lengths of garden hose rather than plastic tubing and PVC. I would glue to circular pieces of vinyl on two spots on the back of the martha, and cut a hole in the middle of each peice. I would then plave an l-shaped PVC piece into each hole and attach each length of hose to it. I would then run the hose to ONE Vick's CoolMist Humidifier with two holes drilled in it. Would this be enough to humidify? Will the hose work? Is two holes too one too many?
As far as contams go, would I need a special filter in the humidifier? Is that all I need to do to keep clean? I would be using it for a fruiting chamber only, as I have two seperate incubators.
As far as light, would setting a light on top of the closet work, or would room/window light do it? How well is temperature regulated with this type of system?
As far as shelving, I was considering using hanging shelves as suggested in another post, but is there any cheap wire shelving that would fit inside?
Thanks!!

^^Thanks for the response! I take it you use those chambers for cakes? Sorry, I worded the question about the filter poorly. I think this humidifider comes with a filter? Do I need to purchase a seperate HEPA filter or anything? Or, will running just the coolmist with a good standard filter in it work?

i use the rubbermaid tubs for casings, i gave up on cakes when i found out how little you get from them.
the filter on the humidifier should be fine. i always run a hepa filter in the room just to make the surrounding air clean but that is an extra precaution that doen't have to be done.

That Martha will work but one with no top shelf is way way better.
Don't forget drain holes in the bottom with something to catch the run off
PVC is killer but not needed. Copy of the very first Martha post This is a Martha Stewert closet and hose set up.
in the box
I use the ultrasonic and cool mist. Very firm believer in air exchange.
In the exectrical Dept of the hardware store I find these. and on the ultrasonic Now on the back of the closet I cut the holes for the hose fittings and put tape over them and cut holes threw the tape for the fittings. The reason for the tape is to give the clostet plastic a little extra strength when holding the hose weight. The outlet for the ultrasonic goes above the cool mist outlet that way the mist from the ultrasonic drops into the airstream of the cool mist and mixes better.

^^Thanks magash, I read the thread you originally posted in, but couldn't find it for some reason(I think I just over-looked it!).
I mainly am just concerned that the one coolmist won't be enough. Also, that it won't be clean enough? So, if I understand correctly, I can just run one coolmist humidifier with two hoses(one on the top of on the bottom), with the standard filter it comes with, drain holes plugged with polyfill, and it will remain clean enough? Also, what type of heat can you use besides light? I am concerned that the temp fluctuates too much, as it is bitter cold here and the temp fluctuates between 67 and 71 degrees. Thanks again!

A cool mist alone is gonna have a hard time doing a Martha. Some have pulled it off but most need the ultrasonic also. With the cool mist running all the time there is no need to plug the drain holes with poly, in fact that is a better way to start contams then just leaving them open. Shit is gonna drop and get caught in the poly (like a little casing layer or something it happens ) and start to contam since the poly will also be trapping moisture.

i have a martha thats the 2 wide (60") and i use 2 coolmists on it and it keeps around 85-90% rh if you want 95 you can use a small pot of hot water to bring it up for about 12 hours.
i use 2 shop shelvs inside there perfect size 29 inch wide 58 inch high with adjustable shelvs but they are metal so i afraid they might rust eventually but no rust so far and they'v been going for like 3 months.
i use holms wumidifiers, 2x 4 gal ones they have wick filterstha are supposedly good at stoping contams but i heard you shouldn't use wich cool mists but i don't see why they work fine.
and btw ty for that original post thats above like 2 years ago because its the reason i decided along time ago to grow mushies do to the martha making it so much mor space eficiant and like a "green house" you are my shroom god

Cool sounds like you have it down. Many people arn't gonna want to put the pot of water in there that is where the ultrasonic takes over. Plus it's nice to know it's handled if you can't get home for a day or so (it happens)
By the way Martha has more then one use Use for martha #2

Of or relating to acoustic frequencies above the range audible to the human ear , or above approximately 20,000 hertz .

Okay, I have one last question(hopefully!):
I have been mulling over shelving ideas, and decided to go with Magash's idea for hanging shelving. Found some HERE but I wasn't sure if this was the best. Also, wasn't sure the best size to order. My Martha Chamber measures 67 in H x 30 in W x 19 1/2 in D. I was thinking the 18" by 24" would work fairly well? The 18" by 30" seems like it would be a tad to wide since that's exactly the width of the chamber. Any thoughts or better deals? Thanks!!
