Ok i hear reports that say "this blotter is 200mics, this is 220mics" well i was just reading chinacats lovely crystal to blotter thread (which can be found here ) and at the beginning it mentions about the concentrations (% purity) of various LSD types for example:
TYPES OF CRYSTAL
- Needlepoint-very pure(95%) white powerdery crystal,was available in small amount`s. The best of the best
- White Fluff-Very pure(95%) white light flakes of crystal. Still around and the most sought after. very pure
- Silver-Good and clean(85-90%)-light greyish crystal. Was an unbelievable amount of this around in the late eighty`s and early nineties. Very good stuff. My first thumbprint was this kind. If you ate acid in the 80-90`s you probably sampled some silver.
- Amber-Decent(70%?) This crystal varied from a light amber color to an almost dark brown color.Was always available.One batch called quadricept amber was the color of light honey and was very good.Lot`s a people worked with this crystal but I always would use silver instead since it was better and the same price.
- Lavender-(60-70%?) light purple to almost black colored crystal. Like amber it varied batch to batch.
- TJ(tornado juice) - purity unknown. I seen this shit in about four different colors and it always scared me. No experiance with it.
- Champagne-(50-60%) black crystal, nasty stuff IMHO. I worked with it once and swore to never touch it again.
Further down he states that: "OK so you got some crystal and need to get it on blotter. It`s a pretty amazing feeling holding a jar in your hands that has 10 grams of crystal in it. That`s 100,000 doses in the palm of your hand. For dealing with laying we`ll say we got 1 gram. Acid is always layed 1 gram=10 tenpacks. A tenpack is tensheets. 1gram=10,000doses. If your laying needlpoint your doses will be 95mcg, because your crystal is 95% pure. If your laying amber your shit will be 70mcg, because it`s 70% pure."
If you cannot have a percentage beyond 100% then how can a blotter of LSD nowadays be 200mics? Theoretically the maximum it could be is 100micrograms?

Answered my own question by reading the following...
"The only way to increase potency is to make the solution stronger. Exp. instead of 1 gram per 110ml. you could put 2 grams in and it would be 190mcg. (if your crystal is 95%). This is very,very,very rarely done since it doubles the price."
Sorry guys 
But carrying on anyway... If 100% pure crystal is unheard of (going on chinacats post) then anything over 190micrograms is not really possible. True? If you used 2 grams of crystal on a solution of 95% pure then as satted above the concentration would 190mcg. So to get 200mcg you would need 2 grams of 100% solution?

you could double the concentration of crystal per tenpack so instead of 1 gram - 10 pack it'd be 2 grams and 190 mcg per blotter. You could make it to any concentration you wanted just by adding more crystal to the same amount of liquid.

i think blotter over 100ug a hit is pretty damn rare these days. i'm usually very skeptical of anyone saying a hit is more than 100.
purely based on my own experience i would say a typical hit is about 50-100ug. erowid lists a common dose as 50-150ug, which i guess would mean a level 2-3 trip in most cases. all the acid i've had over the last sort of two years would get me to like level 2 with just one hit, so i'm guessing that's in the lower half of what erowid calls a common dose, hence my 50-100ug estimate.
200ug should get you properly tripping, and i havn't properly tripped off one hit in several years. but maybe the acid is just shit in my area.
theoretically i guess you can put more than 200ug on blotter. the only limit really is how much the paper can physically hold.

you could put as much as you want on it really, untill the solution becomes supersaturated and that limit i am not sure of,
but you could put 10g in your solution, and each hit would be 950ug...
