^^dido^^
also smash the stems up a little between your fingers and look for them to bruise blue. if you notice a blueish or purpleish color coming out of them theres good CHANCE that you have some winners. if not get rid of them as soon as you can!

You know, it is totally impossible to even begin to guess on anything, do you realize how many different species of mushrooms that there are? If you just take some time and research a little bit on mushrooms in general, you would know that in order to be able to even begin guessing on a mushroom, a description of many features is required. Please take a look at the guidelines thread to find out what info we need. A picture also helps a lot.

Simple fix... Get a camera and take a photo of them ..Not a shitty photo but a good detailed photo.. Don't just take one pic take 6 or 7 .. Then post the best ones.. One of the cap,One of the stem, one of the gills ... Then do a spoor print and photograph it also.. Post it all here with a detailed description and sit back.. Don't assume anything and don't eat anything! Do your Google homework and see where this takes you ..
Good Luck.. A Texan....

The problem is that I squeezed the liquid out of the shrooms into a glass of Oj and I didn't notice any desired effects, though I did get some serious abdominal cramps...I should have been more careful but my age and curiosity got the best of me...its been three days since and I'm growing increasingly afraid for my health...I'm trying to get ahold of a camera to take some pictures for you guys...
-thankful for those with experience

What the hell? You should have identified it before eating, I doubt you'll die, but it was a pretty dumbass thing to do. Next time, post a picture or go find a mycologist, don't just pop them in your mouth without knowing what it is.

You'd better seek medical attention quick, if this is real. If there are any other specimens that you have laying around of that species, I suggest that you take those along with you for identification purposes.

First off, DON'T PANIC.
Even if you had the deadliest known mushrooms the odds are still in your favor. If you had eaten enough of a deadly species to be in immediate danger, you would have been so sick that you would have gone to the emergency room because you wouldn't have imagined not going. You would have been extremely ill.
If you aren't showing other symptoms, then the odds are *very* good that you ate a mushroom that's only going to cause gastrointestinal distress, the most common effect of poisonous mushrooms.
You can also freak yourself out enough to create symptoms even if you ate something that was perfectly edible.
There are a pretty limited number of species of mushroom that are considered deadly.
Here are a few questions to get answers to:
What were the mushrooms growing from (the ground, wood (could be buried), dung)? Cut one in half vertically. Are the gills attached to the stem or free from it? What color are the gills in a mature specimen? What color are the cap and stem? Is there a ring on the stem? How big is the mushroom (and the various parts)?
Try reading the sticky thread at the top of the forum, where it will tell you the sorts of things we need to be able to identify your mushroom. The better your description the more likely it is that we will be able to tell you what you ate.
Seeing a doctor isn't a bad idea. They will be able to do a blood test (if it's felt necessary) that would show if you had consumed amatoxins (the toxins that cause the vast majority of fatalities). If you have actually eaten one of the deadly species, with medical care your odds of survival are better than 90%. The fact that you aren't already in a hospital and deathly ill means that you're almost certainly not in serious danger.
In the meantime you can kick yourself in the butt for doing something as foolish as eating an unidentified mushroom. Most mushroom fatalities take 7 to 10 days to die, of liver failure - one of the more unpleasant ways to go. When you eat unidentified mushrooms you're playing a sort of slow motion Russian roulette where you get an entire week to think about the fact that you got the cylinder with a bullet in it.
Happy mushrooming!
