I dont think it can be contamination because the cake was very healthy when he was in his jar,he start produce these things after I put it out.Somebody tells me is maybe sclerotia or invitro growing shrooms.Thats possible?????

what strain is it? it MIGHT not be bacterial contamination but i doubt it. unless its mexicanna or some sclerotia strain then its not sclerotia.

pretty odd looking, but don't think it's mold. let it grow a bit and see. isolate it from any others, to be safe.

I have seen that same shit before. I have always thought it to be an agresive mold that seems to love feeding off of mycelium. If it's inhaled it causes masive sinus infections. (or, so I'm told)

So, whatever ya do... Dont snort or free base that shit.

I wish the picture was a little closer-up, but I think Jammer is right. It looks like a very agressive mold. Does it have very well formed hairs? If so, chuck it.

Looks interesting to me, but I still can't tell for sure what it is. I've seen somewhat similar growth on cakes, and I've always thought it was just oddly growing mycelium. One thing I would do is depress one of the spots with your finger, see if it does easily depress and also more importantly if it bruises blue shortly thereafter.
