Weak myc or cobweb?

12 jars were knocked up with 12 CCs of beautiful thick LC. However, when it came down the the last couple of CCs, it seemed as though there was no myc. left in the syringe.
You see, as the jars were being knocked up, the myc sort of settled to the bottom of the syringe. The syringe was shaken between each inoculation, but the mycelium sinks fairly fast so the last CC looked like it had nothing but some of the nutrient solution in it!
Out of all of the jars, one is not fully colonized. There -is- white mycelium colonizing the jar, but there is also a half-dollar size spot that looks like the rest of the jar, except a bit dimmer. I mean thinner and a little more lacey looking.
Could this be cobweb mold, or just weak mycelium? I am thinking that this particular jar was the jar that was knocked up with the last bit of LC in the syringe, and thus there is slow and weak mycelium colonizatoin.
If it is indeed cobweb mold, will the mycelium form a line of differentiation when it meets the cobweb mold? Or will they blend nicely together?

If it is cobweb mold, that jar will be covered in a very short period of time. Cobweb mold can take over a jar in a matter of a few days. Monitor the small area you suspect and see what kind of growth you have over the next few days. Unless that growth has covered a significant area, it's probably mycelium.

cobweb contams the whole myc network, so even if its in a small section. the whole cake is already fucked up.
is it fuzzy? how long has it been? is it growing faster by day?
cobweb is more of a grey then myc, which is pure WHITE.
