They really aren't picky about the light they get. My friend has had success with normal incandescent and flourescents.

They are not plants and recieve very little benifit from light. Mainly, just a direction in which too grow. Just lifting the lid to look at them a few minutes a day is prolly enough light.

Avoid lights which give off a lot of heat.
