I have a pressure cooker that goes 12 psi and when the thing starts hissing thats when I start the one hour cooking. OK now thats not the thing the pot isnt big, I can only fit 3 jars on the bottom of the tray, I'm worries that the tray is directly on the bottom and it heats up the jars causing them to dry up inside is this true. P.s can I stack jars while they are inside?

There should be an insert that came with the FC. It's a metal riser with holes in it. Put that in first and your jars will be fine. If you don't have one, place a towel or two in the bottom.

Look at the bottom of your tray. Mine has four little nubs (round, dome-shaped divots) to act as legs holding the tray off the bottom. This may not be the case with yours, however. Sometimes, I place three extra canning jar lids (the rims that hold top on) on the bottom under my tray to allow more water in the bottom. This could work well for your cooker.
