i highly suggest you check out Cheikh Anta Diop's book called The African Origin of Civilizaton. its a bit dated now, but is one of the founding pieces of afrocentric historical analysis.
the picture painted by Diop in the book is really amazing, if youve never read anything about true Kemitic history. the kemits(egyptians, for you lay men) came from the sahara..driven out of the once fertile lands due to climate change 4500 years ago, they built one of the worlds most advanced civilizations for its time. so advanced that people from as far away as asia, india, and zimbabwe were integral parts of the kemitic economy. and one of the coolest but also not talked about parts of kemitic society: the mushroom was reserved only for the Pharaoh. Pharaohs would go out into the desert and eat a bunch of mushrooms and come back with the revelations and tell the people. everyone except the pharaoh was forbidden from taking mushrooms.
perhaps the most influential mushroom trip in kemitic history was when akhenamon went out into the desert and decided that the panetheon of gods that were being worshiped were false, and that there was only one god, Aton. so akhenamon renamed himself akhenaton, and had a kid named Tutankaton. well sure enough, the people didnt like this shift in religion, so they killed the father, and Tutankaton came to power at 10 years old. He was eventually convinced to revert to the old religious ways, and renamed himself Tutankamon. (king tut)
i really like this kind of history because it shows just how the mushroom was used to advance human consciousness and civilization. how mushrooms spark ideas that start revolutions.
anyone want to hear about the impact mushrooms had on men such as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson?

That is very interesting. I would like to hear about Washington and Jefferson's "experiences."

If one could identify any puzzle piece with the painting, then perhaps one would no longer be looking for empty pieces.
