That sucks. Couple years ago my cousin lost his cell phone that he had for a week. Thought he lost it at the beech while he was drunk. It turned up in our friends couch about 5 months later.

One time i lost my cell phone and I swore I had it in my apartment. I used to park in this parking lot behind my building and figured I'd go check in my car. So I walk over to my car and call the phone, lucky shit, the thing was still on. I found it undeneath another parked car, next to mine. Now mind you, it was out there for about a good 3 or 4 days, and it was mid winter, so snow/water on the ground, and it was definitely below freezing for most of the time. Somehow, thephone persisted and stayed on, despite the very likely chance of being run over or freezing. I doubt a new phone would do that, but those old phones man, those things would take a beating!
Good luck to you, I know how aggrivating it is to lose one of those things.
