winter time cow shit revival experiment
    #5055804 - 12/13/05 01:35 AM (18 years, 3 months ago)

if someone were to gather patties from a known summer time active feild durin winter put them in flower pots cased with potting soil and then planted tomato seeds in the casing and incubated at room temp what would be the chances of having those pesky little fungal bandits called cubes come up in at least some of the pots? has anyone tried something similar to this or just have an opinion? if so i'd really like to hear it.  a man has to take care of his tomaters you know i just love them maters :poop: :naughty:

yeh that could work.
heres what i did
when november came and i couldnt find any cubes in the fields
i took an assload of cow shit home
i collected a good 10 pounds or so
so i placed it all in a small tub and watered it and let it sit for a couple days then i seperated it and made 3 smaller tubs i brought the tubs inside and placed by a small heater for a few hours of the day
after a couple days i then placed saran wrap over the tubs nice and tight
3 or 4 days would go by and i could see mycelium growing
in about 2 weeks i had grown 6 long stemmed cubes

this was in mid november the shit aint doing anything now so im letting it dry out might use it for a bulk grow

IMO poo from a known cube field wont contam unless you let it
how do u think the mycelium forms in the wild without gettin contamed

im thinkin sense im growing some wild cubes in jars maybe they will be strong against contams...that would be nice

I thought that uv light (the sun) killed alot of contams. Although Mycelium in the wild does grow alongside of contams. Indoors contams can wreack havock.
