Need help keeping room sterile!!
    #505767 - 12/31/01 10:27 AM (22 years, 3 months ago)

I grow in my room...and so far I have had big problems with contams. I have a medium HEPA filter running all the time, but that doesnt seem to be enough. When the sun shines through the window I see little specks flying around everywhere. It makes me sneeze a lot. I think my bed is very dusty or something, but its the only bed I have... What can I do???

Carpet?
It could be many things, make sure the hepa doesn't need a filter change. Also, make sure it's in a good position and not eddying off in the corner. Possibly lay some garbage bags or plastic over the bed/carpet traffic areas. Do your inoculating and/or put your terrarium at a higher elevation [most contams stay low to ground]. Shower.

First I'd like to say hi to everyone, I am new here @ shroomery. So, Hi.
Get some micron magick filter discs that are availaible at micronmagick.com. They are cheap, and will help prevent nasties from contaminating your shrooms.
