Cook grain or...??

When using rye...should I simmer it first and then drain it....or just put into the jars and pressure cook?? Whats the difference?

Put it in a jar and pressure cook. Use a little less water than rye by volume.

I use those dry goods measuring cups. Heaping for rye, even for water.

If you have oystershell it's good to put a teaspoon in with it
