Hello shroomery friends,

Today I found these two Funguy specimens;

1-Fruiting directly from cow dung.
2-Dark purple veil (and spore prints).
3-No noticeable bluing reaction.
4-In southwest Florida.





- - So whatcha all think about these?? =)

Nice find GG! I don't know what they are, but I think they look like psilos to me. Maybe a variation of dung blue ringers? Dunno, those are not supposed to be in Florida though. Maybe a new cubensis or merderia? How big are they? Cool find GG.

Those are Ps. Moellerii aka Ps. Merdaria. I got some pics of them in one of my lastest threads in this forum.

No sign of bluing - So no bioassay will be done.

Its cool to see a new Psilocybe in town though!~
