All of the sclerotia forming species available have mycelium that ages from whitish to tan to brown. Looks normal to me. The blobs might be sclerotia but it is difficult to tell from that picture.

here's some close ups.
here are the white/yellow blobs
as you can see in this pic, the white blobs are SMOOTH not rhizomorphic. looks like Elmer's glue texture.
when i look into the air pockets in the rice that are visble , i can see the fluffy white mycelium, however the parts against the glass have cobwebish strands (tan color) across the glass. (it isnt cobweb mold , its not "grey" at all) , and most of the large masses of rice that were pushed against the glass look like this.
looks almost scaly, with a "woody" looking texture but its smooth against the glass. looks like it has wood grain in it.
anyone have pics of their fully colonized jars?
could my jar be overly dry? and should i inject water?
should i harvest this now?, its 4 weeks old , as i have plenty of spores left.
would it have formed atleast small marble sized sclerotia by now?

thanks guys!!
i was planning on casing it with verm/coir once it was fully colonized and had formed a few sclerotia to keep as dried mycelium to start later grows.
should i wait another month then harvest sclerotia and case? or should i just case it now? i dont plan on this 1/2 pint producing enough sclerotia for consumption, i'll start quart jars for that later.
so if i wanted to get a few prints and some mushies should i case it now?

thanks mskip23 your first pic looks exactly like mine, but more detailed pic.
i've decided to let it grow til the end on dec, then i'll case it and harvest the sclerotia.
