Hey Cowboy you don?t know what your talking about. The Hydrapod is no rip off. Who told you this? You need to look at my pictures and think about that some more. Your wrong buddy.

And what about the Mushroom Cultivator that most of you said was a rip off? Maybe you should look at these pictures from Boingo.

If you haven?t tried a pod then you can?t say shit about it. It?s that simple. I have one and you can see my pictures in those links. Maybe this will stop all the bull that guys like you are spreading about the Hydrapod. If you don?t know what your talking about then you should keep quiet. I?d like to see you post some pictures of cakes that are half as good as mine. Good luck. Aint gonna happen. Its time that you people stop this bull about the Hydrapod being a rip off. It?s not a rip off. I have had my first pod going since August and I have produced pounds of shrooms with my Pods. I know what I?m talking about. You however don?t. There is no arguement here unless you can prove me wrong. If you can?t then your talking bull and your dead wrong.

I think the arguement of the anti hydra pod people is that you can construct a self automated terranium for much cheaper use casings and get awesome results without having to pay for a pod.
I am almost ready to buy my own pod.. I am buying one simply for the fact that I don?t have the time to be bothered with a terranium and all this other hoopla. That and the yields look awesome... Mcman advertised it as 2-4 Ounzes per 7 brf cakes (half pinters) to me thats more then enough, and there is no trouble of casings and everything else.. just colonize birth and enjoy the fruits of yer labours.

LOL...to funny Ralphster ....but why delete your post.....??? I dont go back and delete mine when I say something I?m wrong about
I really dont think anybody should be arguing the hydra-pod is a rip off etc....
Its a good design for cake growing. And you pay for somebody elses design, and all the hard work that goes along
with making them and shipping them out, and customer service etc..
There are growers out there who would rather pay the extra money to have something like that made up for them because they dont have the time or care to make it themself. So your paying that extra money for somebody elses hard work
No need to talk shit about if your not going to order it. If you have a different idea along the same lines for cheaper or whatever, and want to share it with the OMC, then just make a respectable post in the cultivation section.
Ok...back to the bags in the earlier post.

I agree Hawk. I dont think this is a pod vs bag arguement. Some say the pod is to expensive, and some say the bags are to expensive. The bottom line is they both work well and its just whatever your current skill level and desire is at as to which a person may want. I like the bags because I dont have alot of knowledge yet and once I do acquire more knowledge I m sure I ll also be the proud owner of a Pod as well.

Yeah, heheh. Damn beer.
I think the myco bags and hydrapod are just wonderful ideas. For guerrilla farmers or those with bitchy spouses, those bags rule. For all the arguing and bullshit that goes on at this site, there is a lot of current and good information to be found

Ok... I just started a new thread on Filter Patch Bags VS. Canning Jars in the cultivation section.
Since my writings above are geared for cultivation and not pictures.. lets move it over there and that will be the start of a new FAQ/TEK on using filter patch bags There really is a lot to be said for these bags and I doubt I?ll ever use jars for storing substrate again :)

Here are some more pictures. It?s hard to get a shot of all the pins because of the mycelium growing on the sides of the bags.
There is a large mushroom on the right of this picture.
Most pins seem to be growing upwards but this one is going down for some reason. This bag has the most pins.
There are actually a couple pins growing directly off the mycelium on the walls of the bag... Damn Puerto strain is a strong grower!

Pinning just started on my AUSSIE bags, they should be ready for harvest in a week or two. I will keep everyone updated with pics.

Two of the bags have a couple of early bird fruits ready to be picked. The other two have a more even pinset and should be ready for harvest soon.
Yes I know they are a little premature, I?ve always harvested late so I was going for someting different this time
