oh god i need help

i have casings one half covered with myclium about a week ago...still no pins. i have 4 100% colonized cakes birthed 3 days ago...still no pins. temp is lower 70s. perlite for humidity. Any ideas why there is no progress?

be careful with your casings
you don't want overlay...50% is pushing it
um...as for the pins...maybe try raising the temp? the shroomies will grow at lower temps. its just they grow a lot slower. try bringing it up into the 70's. if you can that is.
other than that, i can't help ya.
im a novice too heh.

lol
it might be kinda hard to actually 'fuck' the casing but as far as the pH level in your casing it can be helped with you semen. just collect a sample or two and spread it lightly on your casing but try not to get 'globs'. the semen is very basic (high pH) so it will greatly reduce chances of mold liking the acidic nature if your casing. you dont need to be drunk though.

BE PATIENT! That is the most important lesson that you will learn from growing mushrooms. What you should do is try and get away from them (the casings/cakes) for a few days, get your mind off of it. Or you could fuck em like everyone else said. I also just realized something, you've been here since '99, NO OFFENCE but have you ever grown anything? Again I say no offence, don't take it the wrong way, it just sounds like a newbie question.
