how long does it take for a pin to reach full growth. i am growing eqs

Maybe a week - 10 days. They seem to grow a little faster if the temp is cozy.

and when and if it stops growing before it matures (when one mushroom is growing 2 inches a day and the other one hasnt grown at all, the ones that havent grown at all are aborts.) so pick your aborts and dont let them sit on your cake/casing for too long, dead things rot...

With the Ecuadors, you definitely want to make sure it's an abort (black cap, white fuzz at the base) before you pick it. This strain is notorious for producing one early large fruit, before it provides a nice medium to large flush.

I dont beleive that an abort can be identified by fuzz at the base, lots of my large mature fruits have this fuzz...

Usually no more than 5- 7 days after after they are about an inch tall.
