Poo in Pillow Case: How Long AFTER Pasteurization...

should one wait to inoculate it with spawn? On my current poo grow I pasteurized for 1 hour at 170 degrees with a brick on top. Then I put the pillow case on an oven rack over the sink and let it drain for 2 hours. I then squeezed it out well by standing on the pillow case and then I let it drain for another hour. So 3 hours total after pasteurization. But this tek here http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/26706 says to let it cool and drain over night. I noticed that my colonization seemed to stall due to excess moisture after about 8 days so should I wait "over night" before inoculating next time? I'm using a fan now to attempt to dry out the substrate a little bit (double tub grow) so hopefully this grow is not lost.
EDIT: It seems like I kinda rambled on in this post so I'll get straight to the point here. Is it better to inoculate pasteurized poo after it has drained for 3 hours or should I do like that particular tek says and wait over night?

what you are actually doing is spawning live mycelium to dung. the reason for the overnight is because overnite is about 8 hours minimum. if you do it during the day the time will be longer but the point is drainage.before you think your substrate is ready for spawning you should squeeze some of the substrate and see if a ton of water comes pouring out. the perfect moisture content is when you have a few drops of water dripping from you hand(i usually go with 3-5 drops at most. if you reach into that bag and it doesn't feel like i just described you need to squeeze the shit out of that bag or pillow case until you have corrected the moisture problem.

The tek says overnite but again it's all about time and drainage. if it doesn't feel right keep squeezing water out until only a few drops come from the substrate.as you become more fermiliar with the substrate you will find what time works best for you. three hours sounds like you are cutting it a little close as the pasteurized dung may still be hot withing 3 hours. it can be done but you really should let the dung cool slowly rather than pouring cold water on it to speed the process.

Cool, I meant spawning I guess because that is exactly what I did. When I spawned my jars with the poo the poo was still a little warm but not hot at all. I didn't squeeze it with my hands so I'll try that next time after letting it sit longer. The reason I questioned the tek is because I've heard different teks calling for different times ranging from 1 hour to over night. I think over night would be about right, judging from my current grow and the excess moisture in it. I've got a fan blowing on the bottom polyfil holes right now so hopefully I can get it to the correct moisture level.
