If fanning is so essential, then why does the invitro tek work?

Pf jars exposed to light and flipped upside down will grow
decent sized fruits without ever opening the lid.

when should I untape my jars if I'm doing invitro? way before I flip them? or as soon as I'm about to flip?

Taping of the holes is not required. You should tape the holes if the dry layer of verm is not used.
