want to trip again but...

i have tripped 8 times on shrooms. my last trip was a bad one.i think it was because there were people with me not trippin.i want to trip again but i was wondering if i would have another bad trip?thanx

The chances of you having another bad trip are (i think) just as good (or bad) as the've allways been. If you remember that all times that you can turn it around, and that it's a drug and will end, and that you are in controll you should be fine. If you can keep your wits about you enough to change your setting, music, lighting situ., and even (important) your company then you are in good shape. Conincidentially my 8th trip I had a miserable trip also, however I dosed again and had GREAT times since.

I've seen many people give up drugs altogether just because of one bad trip. I think this is dumb because bad trips can be avoided, they're not something that you're destined to have. If you pay attention to what pushed you over the edge the last time you can learn to avoid the same cues in the future. The more and more I trip the easier it becomes because I am able to control it more and more. Bad trips meant you messed up once, but that doesn't mean you should just throw in the towel. Drugs have much more to offer you, you should quit when you're satiated, not because you were scared away.

sounds like fear is sittin on your front porch. without bad there would be no good. my guess is that you'll have many more bad trips . learn from them. if you hide, they will eat you alive.

exactly, bad trips are only to weed out the unworthy, if you are not willing to go on forward and face yourself then you have no business working with the mushroom. If you fear you will have a bad trip you will have a bad trip, guranteed. A bad trip is meant to teach you as another poster said and then you can learn the types of things that send you over the edge. But isn't that what you are looking for? I know I am!

Maybe bad trips can be good lol, you take mushrooms to see the world through a different prespective, think,feel new things..and a bad trip is all of them...maybe a bad prespective with bad thoughts and feel things you wish you hadnt..but what the hell..you only live once, and atleeast its a different experiance....but how it goes is upto you...lol i wouldnt say i give good advice but its honest :P
