 How many of you actually floss your teeth?

Up until a month ago I never really did floss. I usually just flossed once in a great while when I KNEW something was stuck in my teeth. But for the last few months or so I've been flossing every night. It's kind of addicting now actually. I love knowing that my mouth is as clean as I can get it and there is nothing stuck between my teeth. Even if you can't feel it, there is still decaying food and whatnot in between them. I've asked a few people around here (Florida) if they floss and almost everyone says no. I don't know if it's because this is the south or because everyone is lazy...or a mixture of both. So, do you folks floss your teeth?

I used to get cavities allll the time when I didn't floss. Of course that wasn't the only reasn why. The dentist told me that I had soft teeth so I'm more prone to cavities. They put sealants on my molars when I was like 7 and I haven't had a cavity since.
Oral hygiene is a very big thing to me.

I just bought a toothbrush that vibrates like crazy...
now I recommend THAT is something everyone should get
$5 or so, and it is pretty amazing. That and listerine, ya should be ok. (and drink some fluoridated tap water sometimes) even tho I know you hippies got somethin' against that

I used to have one of those Oral B electric toothbrushes and it really didn't work that well from what I can remember. Maybe I wasn't using it right. It was one of those vibrating round headed ones. I only used it for like a month or so because it wasn't what I expected.
I'm assuming what you're talking about is different though. Is this like a normal toothbrush but it vibrates?

Yah It's not a re-chargable one...it's a one time battery thing, and it does a hell of a job. I find that my dental hygiene is aided by smoking pot -- the more stoned I am, the longer I space out while brushing -- and the more anal I get about cleaning them over and over

I floss my teeth a few times a week. I don't want any cavities, so I try to floss between my back teeth often.

i always floss my front teeth in the morning to make sure there is no plaque, but i find it hard to get in the routine of flossing all my teeth...

No cavaties, no flossing. Just get an electric tooth brush and some listerine everynow and then and you're fine.
