I hear people talking about fanning during fruiting, why is this neccasay and how important is it? It is to rid of the c02 right? how will fanning benifit my mushroms? I am currently using a serilitecontainer and it is holding 12 cakes, they seem to be fruiting just fine. should i fan them? and how often? Iis fanning only neccesary for certain TEKs or fruiting chambers?

u need to fan every day, its just like plants, they need fresh air. i dont fan, i have a aquarium pump with a tube going into the chamber and it brings air in the growin chamber. but u just fan atleast once or twice with a paper or a fan.

so i can replace fanning with a air pump and a air stone? is it as effective?

yeah, i use an air stone to make humidity too, i put it in a container of water with a cap of h202 in it and a handful of perlite. so i get humidity and air into the chamber, not sure if they get enough fresh air but they grow, thats all i care about, as long as the motha fackas grow.

Turn your terrarium into a MaxiPod by flipping on it's side and by turning the lid into a tight-fitting swingdoor. This makes air exchange a lot easier. The C02, which lies at the bottom, is changed a lot easier when the swingdoor is open as it exposes the bottom of the terraium a lot better.
