The biggest disappointment on CHRISTMAS...

I checked three days ago i found that i had a green mold in my ONLY 2 casings. That really pissed me off. I thought i could save them but couldn't get anything to kill contimate. I didn't have any problems birthing the cakes(i used a 50/50 verm, organic rice mixture) but my question is now, what is the best most effecient casing method that doesn't require to much materials, and has the best chance of not getting contaminated because my area gets moldy fast(even my friends casing got green mold)

did you scoop out the mold and the surrounding area before throwing them out? they may be saveable

Did you use a vermiculite casing? There is a type of contaminant that effects only the vermiculite, it cause a emerald green 'mould'. If this is what you have, jsut shave it off and discard.

If it's the other kind, the REAL green trich mould, clean everything real good and start over.
