how can i tell the temperature of my colonizing jar? and how do i know if the temperature is too high or too low? waht do i do to get it back to the right temperature?

There are several ways to monitor temp. Probably the easiest way is to put your jars into a container that is relativly air tight and use a digital thermometer (obtainable in tons of places like wal mart). You should look for the detail to build a incubation chamber. It's stupid easy and if you plan on doing this much you will need it.
