Anyone ever heard of this guy? Know how to get his materials without buying them?
http://www.mycomasters.com/
He claims he can grow many varieties of mushrooms without sterilization of substrate. He uses copious amounts of hydrogen peroxide...

i paid for it. it took about a year of curiousity before i couldnt handle it and broke down. the guy has some interesting ideas. im still studying the material. the non sterile cultivation info is not anything that you cant figure out on your own with alot of experimentation but it is deffinately a group of tips from an old pro. depending on your ideas about time vs money its worth it.
the peroxide tek is a detailed peroxide tek, a beginner would have a hard time following it though. again, time verses money.... in some ways its like if one of us organized our notes and tried to sell it. a very smart one of us...

depends on what stage . he uses h2o2 all the way thru cept the agar. like i said i havent completely read it yet. hes got two seperate ideas goin on. one is nonsterile cultivation on N enriched medium. the other is peroxide tek. they are actually different because the peroxide would slow down the growth and allow for contams to get in. its kinda like one is a way to avoid contams by not giving them time and the other is using chem to avoid it. ill have more solid things to say after i finish reading it.

Yeah, but on the same token, one of us would post the information here for free, rather than trying to sell it for profit....

If everyone here who knew anything charged for the information available here, this community would not exist, and many of us would be ignorant to magic mushrooms except what we see in the media. Most of us provide information to the community because we would want someone else to share information they discovered to us.
I might buy his materials to test them out, perform my own experiments, and then post up the results. I'm not trying to be a prick about it, and I won't plagiarize his work, but I think that sort of information should be available, even if you don't have the pocketbook to waste money on someone's theories.

Hrmm... that is a tough one.
If you don't actually care to experiment with his procedures and form your own conclusions, I wouldn't just post up the information. I'd say that the one to release such information should have at least tried it out for themselves and gotten results - otherwise, it's just plagiarism.

I left some jars out before sterilization (they were mixed but not sterilized) and I forgot about them. But when I looked a week later they were completely gray like they had been colonized. And technically they had... By contaminates. lol So I dunno... Your choice.
