"Powerful lessons in Personal Change"
I just got this book few days ago, its the best book I've read so far. I know once I finish it I will be a different person.
It has sold over 15 million copies.
I guess the point of this thread is, get it!

Just, my opinion, but..
I've always found such books gimmicky, self-help, pat psychology which regurgitates the ME-generation motivational bollocks of the seventies in order to make a quick buck and get in the way of people expanding their mind by reading books that they might actually learn something from.
I betcha in a few months the book will be on your shelf, completely forgotten about.
Personally I don't want to be a "highly effective person", whatever that means, I want to be the ever changing person that life makes me.
Learning, in terms of personality is generally empirical, it's experience that makes us who we are.

I've read this book as well.
I think it was written by Sean Covey? It was something Covey. It was alright. I myself am usually not a big fan of these types of books either, but it does give some good advice in it.
The problem is actually following the advice.

I agree with that! Im looking into a school for entrepreneur's.
But i do like this one gimic of a book.
Think and Grow rich by Napolean Hill. Its pretty much about setting goals and making that goal your lifes passion. Very interesting and it tells the stories of a lot of major wealthy people that used the ideas he based his book apon.
