I guess the mushrooms like to show they have a sense of humour!

Perhaps it shows the questions dont matter because they are all gods anyway, as are we, and the random element means we can only know so much and to try and categorise everything is in the end futile and also hurts your head?? oh jeh, god knows neh?

Peace

Maybe there is meaning in the inability to answer this.

Not everything has answer?
Randomness, or chaos, has as much bearing as truth?
Or maybe, they were just fucking with your head.

OK, here is my analysis:

You need at least one jeh or neh from either the Truth or False Gods, because if both give the "freeze" reply you can't know which is which. And for any such jeh or neh reply, the Random God might always respond with a duplicate of that reply, so even if you could identify the third God it isn't possible to distinguish between the Random God and another God that gave exactly the same reply.

So it's impossible to identify the Random God this way. You need to repeat the question several times in order to identify him. The Random God might repeat the first answer, but not indefinitely, because then it wouldn't really be random. So changing his reply is the only thing that can distinguish him from the others.

In fact, for a sample size of one question and answer, "Random God" means exactly the same as "Clone of the Truth God or False God, but we don't know which".

If the question is repeated, and if the question doesn't refer to any of the gods themselves, then one can ask a question where the answer is known (like "is 2+2=4?") and discover the Truth God/False God and jeh/neh correlations. Then it's a free choice to define jeh as "yes" and neh as "no" or the other way around. Now the God who answers "yes" to "2+2=4?" is for all practical purposes the Truth God, and the one who answers "no" is in the same way the False God.

Maybe the point of the puzzle is that truth is a correlation rather than an identity, and that repetition is needed to distinguish random from unknown pattern.

You are awsome RebelSteve, I love your energy

I kinda agree that maybe the question is not to be answered, it just is.

I also have this picture in my head of me asking for the answer when I feel its time, and when I am showed I will respond "Thats impossible" and thats when the three gods will  wink  at me and ill say ohh wow... then forget it all in the morning and live a peaceful happy life

can you not find the rnadom God by asking some insane question that can't be answered with yes or no.

example - what did you have for breakfast today?

would the random God, just say yes or no to that. where as the god of truth and god of false would freeze or what not

Yes, but (as I said) then you can't distinguish the Truth and False gods from each other, because they both froze. The remaining part of my argument assumes that at least one of the Truth and False gods didn't freeze.
