Vendor Rating System Proposal

I propose a vendor rating system. Members would be able to post comments, and award rating points like in eBay, about vendors and their products. A second rating could show a count of mud slinning posts, which would be decided by a vote. For instance, if someone claims that a vendor in the rating system is talking shit, wether truth or not, the post gets put up to a public vote. Then we could all know the business and moral character of all the vendors. It would provide a means for comparison and motivation for the vendors to stop wasting our time with posts about dumb arguments.

good idea, and im going to be buying alot of spore prints today or tomorrow, and need some advice of vendors with good reputations....any comments?

i dont think a credible complaint has arisen from any purchaser of vendor products or services (save the sporechicks game of chance). there really arent ripoffs imo- i cant remember seeing a complaint against any vendor who posts here, who has a banner ad here, or who is listed on the grow/find page. when a new vendor surfaces- thats the only time a newbie risks either no delivery or contams (on a rampant basis- theres always the chance of contamination, and theres always the chance of an order being lost). there have been an upcrop of fly-by-night companies stealing pics, but most who read/post here will know when a spade's a spade (and wont order from them). usually ripoofs are discovered before anyone falls victim...

of course, there is variation btw vendors-
*delivery time
*spore variation
*other myco items available
*payment accepted
*and of course, personality :) its always your choice to order from whom you like- but that really cant be quantified into a table of good/bad vendors. (like, i think capt max is funny & wouldnt hesitate recommending him to someone, but others find his antics and postings to be so abhorrent they wont order from him. to each his own...) i never think that what others feel about a vendor's personality should sway what and how i choose to do business, or be quantified into a "point" stystem. ((but- overgrow's *karma* system is awesome, and applies to all... doesnt say someones a bad vendor, but just someone who gives good/bad advice...))

perhaps disney wouldnt be the conglomerate they are today if such a rating system were in place, but i also dont think there will be a sporeworks-world in orlando anytime soon. (if so, can i geta job roasting corn or painting faces?)

Well here's my opinion.
For print size and selection of PC strains
www.thehawkseye.com
For speed of delivery go with
www.sporeworks.com
Both are good vendors. T.H.E. has larger spore prints in my experience and a larger selection of various strains delivery speed can be fast but is usaully kinda slow :(
While Sporeworks has a pretty good selection of strains nice prints and the fastest delivery speed I've experienced.
Very fast shipping like lightning!
Again both are good vendors the choice of coarse is yours.

I have exclusive strains, prints the size of small dinner plates and I use the same mailmen as the others!

I'd have to say that all these guys are great vendors, striving to provide people with only the best products and services. Just don't order from sporechicks, if they moved and slower they would slip into a coma, that is if thier not in one already.
