thanks for telling me what it was. Now....... what is the pourose? Does it just keep it more sterile in the terrarium?

helps kill bacteria while mycellium can still grow while in contact with it. peroxide will kill spores and render them useless but it will not kill mycellium. but it can damage it and halt growth if used in high concentration. actually the 3% solution that comes in the bottle is too high a concentration; thats why people dilute it 10:1 making the 'ideal' mixture for our purpose between .1% and .3%
