YOU ARE... Dark Star - A song with space imagery and creation of a "dark star", it represents the birth and death cycle of the world. It also shows a kind of mystery about the universe that you probably agree with.
"Dark star crashes/ pouring its light/ into ashes/
Reason tatters/ the forces tear loose/ from the axis/
Searchlight casting/ for faults in the/ clouds of delusion/
shall we go,/ you and I/ While we can?/ Through/ the transitive nightfall/ of diamonds/
Mirror shatters/ in formless reflections/ of matter/
Glass hand dissolving/ to ice petal flowers/ revolving/
Lady in velvet/ recedes/ in the nights of goodbye" - Grateful Dead, "Dark Star"

YOU ARE... Ripple - A song about the world in general, and how its mechanisms are hidden. You're mystical, and probably religious or spiritual in some way. In your eyes, things exist due to some other, non-secular force. You've very in touch with water imagery.
"If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine/ And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung/ Would you hear my voice come through the music/ Would you hold it near as it were your own?/
It's a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken/ Perhaps they're better left unsung/ I don't know, don't really care/ Let there be songs to fill the air/
(Chorus)
/Ripple in still water/ When there is no pebble tossed/ Nor wind to blow/
Reach out your hand if your cup be empty/ If your cup is full may it be again/ Let it be known there is a fountain/ That was not made by the hands of men/
There is a road, no simple highway/ Between the dawn and the dark of night/ And if you go no one may follow/ That path is for your steps alone/
/(Chorus)/
You who choose to lead must follow/ But if you fall you fall alone/ If you should stand then who's to guide you?/ If I knew the way I would take you home" - Grateful Dead, "Ripple"
-------------------- I find your lack of faith disturbing

YOU ARE... Box of Rain - A song with a message that everything is temporal, and should be cherished as it is. It shows that happiness can basically be found everywhere, as long as you're looking correctly.
"Look into any eyes/ you find by you, you can see/ clear through to another day/ I know it's been seen before/ through other eyes on other days/ while going home --/ What do you want me to do,/ to do for you to see you through?/ It's all a dream we dreamed/ one afternoon long ago" - Grateful Dead, "Box of Rain"
"But it's just a box of rain or a ribbon for your hair Such a long long time to be gone and a short time to be there"...

The quiz says I'm Ripple. With the quiz aside, I'd say at this very moment in my life I'm this this song: (not GD but JGB)
I'll Take a Melody
I've seen the rain pouring down The sky was grey with a speck of blue Peek through a hole in the clouds The sun was screaming, "Hey You!".
As you ramble through your sorrow Seems like everything come out wrong I'm living in yesterday's tomorrows I know something's helping me along
I'll take a melody and see what I can do about it. I'll take a simple C and G and feel brand new about it. I understand why the old fisherman Sail alone, sail alone, sail alone. Sail alone Someday he'll be gone
I hear you talking about your troubles Everybody's got their troubles too You can make them burst like bubbles If you know just what to do
You know I've been called a dreamer Dreams that never come true But I've been called so many things before Tell you what I'm gonna do
I'll take a melody and see what I can do about it. I'll take a simple C and G and feel brand now about it.
I understand why the old fisherman Sail alone, sail alone, sail alone. Sail alone Someday he'll be gone
-------------------- Goin' where the water tastes like wine.

the quiz says im brokedown palace though...which is cool cuz i love that song too its up there with my favs
YOU ARE... Broke-Down Palace - Broke-Down Palace is about love being temporal, and life flowing like a river. It also have overtones of being tuned to life, and becoming one with the world seems like a possible goal of yours. It has a sad aura about it.
"Fare you well my honey/ Fare you well my only true one/ All the birds that were singing/ Have flown except you alone/
Goin to leave this Broke-down Palace/ On my hands and my knees I will roll roll roll/ Make myself a bed by the waterside/ In my time - in my time - I will roll roll roll/
In a bed, in a bed/ by the waterside I will lay my head/ Listen to the river sing sweet songs/ to rock my soul" - Grateful Dead, "Broke-Down Palace"

What is weird this really does sum me up YOU ARE... Ripple - A song about the world in general, and how its mechanisms are hidden(But with will power can be found). You're mystical, and probably religious or spiritual in some way(Im not the most spiritual person but yes I am very spiritual). In your eyes, things exist due to some other, non-secular force. You've very in touch with water imagery(Being near water is like heaven on earth to me).

OK, I'll buy that. But, if I was picking my song, it'd be El Paso. I have grown accustomed to the idea that my only joy in life will be appreciating the irony of being shot down just when it looks like I'll reach my goal.

You are Alice D. Millionare
Quote:
You say you're living in a world of trouble All your schemes have popped like a bubble Your mother told your sister And your brother told your friend Now your secret's out, and you don't have to pretend You can see for yourself, it's really not the end
Chorus You're standing there with tears in your eyes There's too much going on now, there's no time to cry
You say the walls are closing in on you child All your friends have put you in exile Bad luck seems to follow you all around the world You can't seem to find no peace of mind girl You will take a chance to seem so bad
[Chorus]
Every minute is a brand new day And there are some games that I'd just love to play Even bad scenes are for real, there's no time to cry
Since you left your old scene behind you Go ahead and let the green light find you It's warm and friendly girl and it won't blind you Come out in the street and the weeds won't grind you See the love is in the air, you feel it all around you
[Chorus]
Your yesterday's are all left behind There's a brand new light in your mind You don't need a key to define What's written on the magic sign There's no time to cry
When the season of the magic lantern Is transformed into a funny pattern And the wheel of fortune has a flat tire You can't seem to get any higher When you go above the [?] machine, you find a horseshoe
[Chorus]
