You wont get a remote sensor for a hydrometer.
Thermometers are fairly accurate when cheap. But if you want a good one, check radio shack. They'll even have a combo thermometer/rH meter. Cigar shops have pretty good rH meteres too

get a stick-on thermometer used for fishtanks for $2.99. ive never used a hygrometer and hear that it is not necessary from a lot of people.

whats a good way to monitor the humidity inside the fruiting chamber if a hygrometer isnt necessary? because you cant really let condensation convince you that youre is at the 90% relative humidity optimal. ive been hearing about those digital thermometer/hygrometers from radio shack but how do you not set those up where the condensation will not wet the unit and short it out inside the fruiting chamber???
hey thanks guys for your useful info peace love and ganjah to all haha.

they're not "water proff" , they are "weather proof" ... meaning they can withstand the high humidity but you cant dunk them in water

i dunno about the remote ones but i used to have a remote controlled car that i smashed into my terrarium taht had my fish in it one time.. it didnt really do much damage though because it was a pretty good car. about the water proof thing though.. i hear if you take a regulalr guage and dip it in a bucket of paint.. preferable the outside kind... that it will waterproof it. hope that helps
