Idea for incubator

I have an older Coleman cooler, and I wanted to use it as an incubator. My current incubator works but, I want to put in a new FC and I want to use the container that I am using for the incubator (Tupperware container wrapped in mylar coated bubble wrap with a heating pad sitting on top of the lid, it works well :smile:

)

What I was thinking of doing was cutting a strip about 5mm and about 15cm wide along the bottom of the outer casing of the cooler, sliding my heating pad in and sealing it up with silicon or just glue gun it shut, to keep the heat in. This way the air in between the outer and inner shell would get heated and :wink:

hopefully evenly heat the cooler inside.

Has anyone tried this? Your thoughts would be appreciated as well, do you think this will work?
