Thorazine is old school, not to mention bad for you physiologically and psychologically. Downers are generally used nowadays. Some xanax or valium does the trick normally. Even kava or alcohol could theoretically be used. If none of those are available, 500mg of niacinamide used to be used to abort a bad trip. Wiccan_seeker made a thread about it a while back, you could try taking a look at that.

Xanax works quite well. Thorazine is the most horrible shit imaginable, i'd prefer the bad trip.

I don't think you could buy any of those drugs on the Internet, especially in the case of Vallium. I will do some research into Niacinamide tho

What about lithium? Would the lithium in flashlight-type batteries make do in emergencies? and how much would be effective?

Niacin can cause flushing of the skin, and some people can have allergic reactions to it - you may want to test it out before trying it.
I havnt found any solid proof however, to state that that it ends a bad trip.
Personnaly, I'd chose to try and take steps to get out of the bad trip then to end it. I think the only time I've taken anything to try and take the edge off a bad trip, was taking two Ativan (anti-anxiety pills) to calm my nerves after my buildings fire alarm went off while I was on 6 hits of rather potent stuff.

wow, thats pretty extreme, lithium only works when you are pushing a near toxic does. and isn't it only really used for manic depressive cases, basically it seems to kill your emotion. dont eat a battery while tripping, its never that bad, sit through it and figure out why you feel bad, dont eat batteries.

I thought about batteries back when I was suicidily depressed. I was just wondering if it is the same substance as in batteries, and in what cases and dosages it might make do, as in an emergency situation, say in the woods far from amenities.

Niacin doesn't have the same anti-anxiety properties that niacinamide does, so it wouldn't really help a bad trip. In fact, I would imagine it would make it worse. Imagine having an awful trip from hell, eating some niacin, then running around feeling like you're on fire for the next half hour.

Yeah as said above, lithium would only be good in toxic doses. You'd be much better off with an anti-anxiety agent for a bad trip.
PLEASE do not eat anything from a battery. Batteries contain all sorts of nasty chemicals. Let's put it this way, if some battery acid spilled on your skin, it would melt like butter. Imagine doing that to your insides...it would be a slow and agonizing death.
If you're ever that depressed again, please go to a hospital or to someone who can make sure you don't hurt yourself, or to mental health worker.

I heard xanax, valium work well. To completely kill the effects of certain psychoactives I was under the impress a substance existed that cancel the effects of certain psychoactives but perhaps I was misinformed.
