Animals and Meddle rules..

Animals and Meddle are easy my two favorite Floyd albums. They are in fact my two favorite albums by any bands. They are masterpieces. Dogs is my favorite song off of Animals and Echoes off of Meddle. Oh man, Echoes is a must hear song while tripping for me. That song is amazingly well done.

Pink Floyd,IMO,is the best band ever. Of course anyone could argue that because it's all a matter of opinion. But I just look at it as there is Pink Floyd...and there is everything else. I know myself and many other fans just feel like some super weird connection with the band and that's what makes them so unqiue. But like all great rock bands, in order to succeed a connection must be made with the listener and the Floyd does an amazing job at that.

I definately almost cried when I listened to The Wall for the first time when I was high...and I'm not the type to cry.

And Animals is fucking great, the first time I listened to it it just tripped me out so bad, but now I really love it for the meaning. Now if I'm stoned and not listning to Animals, my high usually feels like it's missing something.

I'm listening to Pink Floyd in a most unusual way tonight. I'm listening to "A Saucerful Of Secrets" on a radio which has a left speaker blown out. Basically it's half of a Floyd album only in a different way. Sometimes you just hear the words, because the music was on the left side. Interesting to hear it this way.

Anytime i hear "Breathe" or "Echoes" I am immedietley reminded of tripping.
