gonna trip for the first time soon, i found out i have a history of mental illness. dunno exactly possibly scitzo or some sort of anxiety disorder. is it safe for me to trip, how many grams of shrooms should i take?

I would HIGHLY advise against this. though there are no documented facts I know of which state that this is not safe, I would NOT take a chance. when you are on shrooms your thought processes change to that of a schizophrenic, and it has been said that tripping MIGHT release a dormant case of schizophrenia, and turn into a full blown schizophrenic attack. check www.erowid.com about mushrooms, they have lots of articles about this kind of thing.
shrooms are not a "get fucked up drug," I only suggest doing them if you are completely mentally stable as trips can really change your perspective on things in life, and if your mind is already prone to not being in "reality" then shrooms will most likely only worsen the case.

i could voche for this one. i tend to find myself losing my marbles sometimes and its from tripping on acid and mushies. i have ate acid probablly 300 times.(BTW acid sucks i would never touch it again) i don't know when your sopposed to be legally insane but i think i am. i think some crazy shit sometimes. i have eaten about a pound of mushies. good times. and i no way am i boasting about this cuz i am not proud of it i wish i would have never ate acid. it sucks. but anyway i have pretty much lost my mind from all that shit. my gf thinks i am crazy..

I would start with a very low dose to begin with. like 1 or 1,5 grams. this is pretty low but better to low than too fucked up. right? Don't underestimate the power of mushies. first see how it goes and have fun.

there is no point when your legaly insane from how much acid you have eaten. i have eaten 700+ and way to many shrooms and i dont really do any of that shit anymore either but to say that its sucks and to wish you had never done it is wrong it was your choice and you know that you loved it. so to go flip mode and say that you hate the shit i could never agree with. even my friend who spent weeks in the mental ward on 2 occassions from the lsd doesnt say that its horible stuff because of years of good use.

you could be right. show me one offical document, not some propaganda. if there was a point when to many hits would make you medicaly insane it would be when you were on it but even then i dont think that would hold up in court.
i could be a complete moron for thinking its not bad for me. but i had 7 years of fun on that shit and i walked away fine. actually i quit smoking and drinking during those times to cause it was bad for me, but lsd it was great.

I must be a complete moron, then. I have done months of reserch on LSD and the effects of LSD on the brain (long term and short-tem) , and have found nothing that has prevented me from taking LSD.

im with you on that, i read plenty on lsd i used to go to different libraries before there was internet to read from. nothing i have found or seen, steered me away from it.
