alergic reaction?

If some one is alergic to penicylin (sic) would it be likely that they are alergic to magic mushrooms? Both are grown on grain based substrates, although one is a mushroom and one is a mold. What do you think? Thanks

Probably not, but they have to be supercareful not to eat mushies that come from contaminated casings. Penicillin molds can be one of the green contaminants we see on casings. If a person that is allergic to PCN ate a mushy from a penicillin mold contaminated casing, they would have an allergic reaction.
