Fluorescent lamp vs. Fluorescent Plant lamp

I acquired both this afternoon. Anybody have an opinion on wich might be better for fruiting. I think there's about a $15 difference in price. Is the difference worth $15 over time?

Good Question!
I don't have a clue though. I have both too.
I know plants like the blue spectrum in the grow lights.
Not sure about shrooms.
Anyone?

I used a 7w florescent tube over my grow area and it was fine....so either will work, they don't need heaps of light.....;)

They are not plants, they get nothing from the light but a sense of direction in which to grow. I've also tried the blue light, it didn't seem to make any noticable difference. Just make sure whatever light you use, that it doesn't give off a lot of heat or else it can effect your humidity level.
