I think i fucked up?

i made a syringe. i think my procedure was kinda messed up. i put water from the tap in a lil pot and brought it to a boil. took the syringe and sucked it in and out like 3 times but accidentally let the water back in while releasing the shit from the syringe in the boiling pot. i realized it and let the pot boil a lil longer and corrected my mistake. proceded once more and did it right. i sucked the syringe up with water one last time and let it chill for like 25mins. it was cool and no warmth could be felt. i took my spore print but before that took a nice little glass bowl and steralized it. not knowing i used hydrogen peroxide which was expired in 94. i cleaned the bowl and flipped it upside down untill i was ready to proced. when i was ready to make a syringe i opened my print scraped some spores in the bowl, squirted some water and sucked it up. i did this a couple of times to get them all. i shook the syringe and proceded to innoculate. i didnt use a glove box or such but just inocculated. took the tape off jus a bit and proceded to innoculated. i didnt have an extra layer of verm on top of my cake so.....? do u guys have any input on what are better teks to make a syringe and innoculation. its been bout 2 days with no sign of anything. i also encountered a problem with my heating pad. i wrapped it around my 2 1pint jars and put it on low. the fuckin thing was hot as hell. do u think my spores died (eqcudor) please help

i think you fuct up...
your syringe process sounds like it would work even with messin up the procedure.

the vermiculite barrier is there for a reason....but it would still work...even though your chances of contamiation have increased greatly.

now the heating pad....thats where u fuct up...i think you probably killed your spores...but u never know...let it sit for awhile...and dont fuck with it too much...

and sterilize your shotglass with isopropyl alcohol...and let it evaproate.

ok so leave the jars alone for how long until i should see a sign? as for the heat for my jars should i jus wrap them up in some blankets or what? all my mycology stuff will be going on in my basement which is my room/chill room (i got 2 bedrooms and i aint rich) anyother suggestions on how to keep them heated and as for my jars if i dont see growth in.............(i dont know how many days to wait) i should reinnoculate?

boil the shotglass with the water it will steralize it i do mine in the microwave put in coffie cup fill with water with shotglass in it fill over shotglass let boil for ten min use spoons to pull glass out while hot sit glass on table disenfect table first then put a clean glass over it suck water from coffie cup pretty much the same thing you did before but with microwave

it can take about 7-10 days to see something sometimes. there are good incubation methods on this forum look around to find one that suits your needs
