God + Tool
    #495581 - 12/19/01 01:46 AM (22 years, 4 months ago)

For some strange reason, i used to picture God as a person. Now i picture the tool's Aenima cd cover logo thing as god. Just some sort of white block, i see it alot, while tripping once i saw it in the form of a box, with red bars around it.

I used to think of god as a crescent moon with a face on it..I don't think god really has any form, it is just everything...so i guess god is in the form of the universe.

I actually picture your avatar as what God would look like. Just pure light or energy. Formless yet penetrating and beautiful.

Well galaxies are in spirals so universes might be spirals too within other spirals....
So god is a spiral....
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.
Well I've only gotten to first base....how bout you guys?

You mean this spiral?:

The tube torus..the spiral of space-time becomes smaller and smaller as we rocket towards the finish line in this cosmic vehicle we call Earth. Finally, when walls of time cave in on each other and nothing exists but the present, that is when we will go where no one's been before.

Either that or we'll just cease to be.

yes but does a spiral have an end?
god is the spiral and that is the path it follows

the golden mean spiral is infinite, no beginning, no end
it is based on phi, the golden ratio, the ratio is a proportion
if you have a line C divided into two A & B, then the golden
ratio is A/B = C/A. this ratio can be found everywhere in the
natural world. the golden mean rectangle can be constructed
with this ratio and from that you can generate the golden
spiral, this is infinite, it forever spirals inward and outward.
all natural life follows this eternal model of growth and
development from the growth of plants, seashells to the formation of galaxies. for more information do a search on the web orcheck out the chapters on sacred geometry in
frissell's 'nothing in this book is true'.

Yeah, Infinite light and infinite life in:

The name Amitabha means "Infinite Light." Amitabha's Discriminating Wisdom conquers the poison of the passions--all cravings, covetousness, greed and lust. With this wisdom, the disciple discerns all beings separately yet knows every being as an individual expression of the One.
In the mandala of the Dhyani Buddhas, Amitabha is positioned to the west. His color is rose (red), the color of the setting sun. He rules over the element of fire and personifies the skandha of perception. Thus, the eye and the faculty of seeing are associated with Amitabha. The peacock, with "eyes" on its plumes, is his throne-bearer. The peacock symbolizes grace.
Amitabha's symbol is the padma, or lotus, placed between him and Vairochana in this mandala. In Buddhism, the lotus can symbolize many things, including spiritual unfoldment, purity, the true nature of beings realized through enlightenment, and compassion, the purified form of passion.
Devotees aspire to be reborn in Amitabha's Western Paradise, known as Sukhavati, where conditions are ideal for attaining enlightenment. His mudra is the dhyana (meditation) mudra. His bija is Hrih and his mantra is Om Amitabha Hrih.
Some consider Amitabha to be synonymous with Amitayus, the Buddha of Infinite Life. Others honor Amitayus as a form of Amitabha or as a separate Buddha. Amitayus is usually depicted holding a vessel of the elixir of immortal life. As shown in this statue, a tiny ashoka-tree often sprouts from the cover of his vessel, representing the union of the spiritual and the material.

To me, God is the Creational force that happens to be a sun that also happens to be the center of our universe.

Electrons revolve around Neutrons and Protons, the wind blows and the seeds are spread, the rain falls and is drank with thirst, and always returns from whence it came. The Moon rotates around Earth, The planets rotate around the Sun, The Sun revolves around other suns, and those suns are revolving around others. Galaxies revolve around other galaxies..Amidst this endless dance within a dance within a dance lies the source of all the Creation.

And it is Light and Love
