Shroom huntin in Costa rica

I am taking a trip down to costa rica sometime soon and was hoping while Im down there I could find some shrooms in there natural habitat. Would any body happen to know the best time of the year to find mushies and also is there any other species besides cubes that grow down there?

best season to pick mushies in the wild is during the rainy season, normally from may to september.
I doubt you can find shrooms this time of the year, but if rained a lot in the past couple weeks you could find some...
don't remember exactly but i think cubensis, mexicana and pancyans grows there....
hey..if you get a cubie print keep it 4 me!

Psilocybe aztecorum is also listed as being found in Costa Rica.

Airdog, where did you get that name. Guzman says no to that.

As for shrooms in Costa Rica,

Amanita muscaria, Claviceps paspali, Copelandia cyanescens, Psilocybe cubensis, Psilocybe aztecorum var. Bononi and Psilopcybe mexicana.

Those ar e the only known species form Costa Rica.
