pan cyan or psilocybe cyan?? Pan cyans are more potent than cubies by about that much, but ps. cyans are more potent again - i would probably take 3-4 grams first time but they can REALLY blow your fucking mind if you take too many!! watch your step

I am used to taking about 3 grams of cubensis, and the one time that I took cyanesenses I took 5(pcs., not gram) fresh (probably about 3 grams dry weight) and I tripped damn hard for a while. I didn't like it. (my trip was not pleasurable probably due to my mind set, but the others that I tripped with all had bad experinces) It was not much more than a mind trip, and it made me pissed at myself for taking them.

Funny you should say that! Ive had some great trips on ps.cyans, but once when i ate about 4-five grams dry of the shit - i tripped sooo hard yet was able to say to myself - 'fuck im an idiot for taking these poisonous little shits!'
I had auditary screams of terror, i couldnt feel my body at all, everything was melting and people looked like demons and i got heaps paranoid that everyone was trying to get my soul and all this sorta shit that i knew was stupid at the time but couldnt get out of my mind, i felt i was under tremendous 'pressure' like i was inside a bubble - and a look at myself in the mirror freaked me out - it was a complete mind fuck and i got real bad diaherra too

to be blunt, I hate cyanescens, I have taken two trips with them and really disliked both trips. cyanescens are mostly a really fuckin heavy mental trip, I personally would just stick to cubies. i don't find that harder trips are more enjoyable, I would rather take a half eighth of cubies or 2 hits of acid and just chill out. but you may enjoy it, who knows.
