my friend who ahs tripped on everything from shrooms to pcp and everything inbetween said that when he does Extacy he gets a "happy" feeling and visuals, but when he trips on shrooms the "happy" feeling is there but no visuals. but ive read alot of posts of people visualizing on shrooms. whats teh deal?

You can certainly get visuals from mushrooms if you take enough. The happy feeling from ecstacy is very different from the feeling you get from mushrooms. The only visuals I get from E is blurred vision and the inability to focus my vision on a specific point.

Truly, when I eat XTC the only visuals I ever have seen are simple distortions (blurriness, etc.). However, every time I eat mushrooms I have visual hallucinations. I don't have simple distortions...I see colors and new shapes (among other things). It is always true that dose affects outcome, but I have never had a shroom trip that didn't have visuals.

E is for energy and gives you orgasmic rushes of hot energy occasionally, mushrooms can be spiritual, full of the same orgasmic rushes and definitely can give you open eye visuals as well as thought, answers and closed eye visions that can be ID changing experiences,........

While I know nothing about E I can say that I have only had 2 mushroom trip w/o visuals, and one was in the middle of the day and it was 1/32 of an O (cubensis). In fact all it did do was wig me out for a bit.
and the other was with cyanesense and I ate 5 fresh, with that trip there were no visuals, basically it was an intense mind trip that lasted about 7 hours, and it was probably the closest thing that I've had to a "bad trip"

I personally think MDMA is a shit drug just because it's all fake. All emotions you recieve are caused by the drug. It forms fake relationships, fake fake fake, drains your seretonin so often you become depressed afterwords. Mushrooms on the other hand act based on your mind. If you have a very open mind and can control things really well you can have CRAZY visuals. I can get intense visuals from a gram of good shrooms. You just have to be able to get into that "mushroom trace" that you get put into, that's when hallucinations really start happening. I've known people who could control their own heart beat on mush. So compared to mushrooms E is junk. I'll stick to mind expanding psychadelics rather than dirty teeth gnashing "hey I wonder what's in this pill today!" bullshit.

Agreed. I have never taken mdma, and never plan to. I am not a fan of manufactured drugs.

Well I'm glad that it's done that for you, but how many others has it fucked up? If you go to a pond with a machine gun and start shooting away at the ducks, sure a few are going to survive. Nothing like shrooms? Living different lives and having conversations with imaginary people are very common with mushrooms. Not to say you don't know what your talking about but there is a very wide range of effects from mushrooms. Just because you have never lived a different life on mushrooms doesn't mean that effects like that are nothing like shrooms. Did you ever think that maybe some of that ectasy may have had acid, pcp, or some other type of drug in it?
As to what causes those, high dose psychedelics...
