The owner of a restaurant where I live is selling a second hand pressure cooker (with more than 100 liters capacity) in about 700 euros ( about 790 dollars)...he says that the this price is really cheap...
What do you guys think?
He also says that it is in more than perfect conditions...

You could start knocking up bags for sale in europe. The shipping from outside the EU is too much, and I dont think there is a EU vendor selling sterile grain. You could also sell colonised grain like www.spores101.com

100 L PC from a resturaunt.... hmmm, i'm going to guess this thing has been used WAAAAY more than the average myco-fiends' PC. Of course the owner is going to say it's the greatest thing since the invention of the internet, he wants to sell it. If your willing to throw down $800US I'd fire that thing up first to examine everything... try before you buy, and see why he's selling it. Otherwise, that's a bigass cooker for not an outrageous price from what I've seen.
-------------------- ........someday I'll find it.

does it seal and build pressure properly. no leaks
if it has gauges, do they work, how about safety valves.

If you've got the $$ to do it, I'd take Blackout's suggestion. You would definitely get a good ROI

Wow, that thing is a beast. Pretty cool looking.
Certainly not necesarry though for just normal mushroom growing heh. If you just plan on growing mushrooms, save yourself some money and get one that is smaller. Ones in the $150 range are pretty nicely sized and perfectly fine for growing.
Unless of course you have lots of money. If you have that much money, you might as well buy the damn thing just because you can and sterlize those jars with professional PC style .

this smart guy when saw my interest deicided that the price is going to be 1500 euros not the 800 euros he told me on the phone (he says he paid 6000 euros for it nine years ago and it has almost no been used).
In any case if I finally deicide to buy Im not going to pay more than the first offer (800 euros), and before to buy I will send a Fagor worker to see if everything is ok.
