Hunting in my Backyard
    #4941507 - 11/16/05 12:12 PM (18 years, 4 months ago)

I was thinking since SC has had soe cyan/ofibs grow there before and the weather is roughly the same as Fresno so I was thinking about going to OSH and getting alder wood chips and another sort of wood chips, I have mushroom compost, some mulch?, I have a line of rose bushes already hehe, berry shrub seed? anything else recommended would be nice. I know my chances are very slim and usually an area that contains any conetration of mushies with all the right enviormental contents doesnt always mean that its 100% sure every other area with same contents will do the same. I also know it might take alot of time before any mushrooms grow at all but since I would be creating an idealistic mushroom garden for the cyan family (cyan/cyanofib) i'll take my chances. Theres also alot of tree hovering over the area I will be landscaping (rose bush area). Any suggestion and tips would be appreciated.
