Hi Assdreoid,

you do not need scissors to cut liberty cap shrooms. They grow with their mycelial root-strands attached to the roots of the
wiold grasses they grow from.

There are thoudans of them and you just lift them fromt he ground with your fingers. They need not be cut with scissors. Only the woodchip shrooms such as P. cyanescens be cut or manured shrooms. Lawn or grass related shrooms do not need cuttingin the pastures.

mj

nice find AssDroid, check your pm when you have a chance,

mj

You can blame me for Blek thinking that Libs should be pinched to prevent harm to the mycelium. I was under the impression that all types of mushrooms should be cut, and passed on that misinformation to Blek.

Woah, impressive! interesting thread too - i think what i found yesterday must've been an albino liberty cap fruit (held side by side with a normal one it just looked too... well, exactly the same (but paler)... to be a different species altogether!)

Fingers crossed for finding some decent numbers soon...

Here we have an image of Jochen Gartz with a collection of the Liberty Cap mushroom, Psilocybe semilanceata (naturally grown near Mansfeld-Harz Mountains in Germany).

I have pictures of the field and nearby wooded area but they are at home. I took this image from the Shroomster Enterprises MJ Shroom World Site.
