Mushies falling off of cake? (/w pictures)

So, I've been waiting for the first flush to bloom out. However, today, one of the largest fruits that had currently been around (about 2 inches long) literally just fell off of the cake. Is this natural? The bottom, where it'd been connected to the cake, was green, and I'm not sure if that's natural.
I've never seen anything about this happening... should they fall off on their own? They haven't been handled at all, so I'm kind of confused.

Yes it was. I wasn't sure. I've been having problems with slow growth, and then seeing the fruit literally fall off got me a little concerned
Pretty much all of the fruitbodies I've been getting are coming directly out of the sides, and growing fairly horizontally. I've tried with different light sources (next to the east window of my place, underneath a lamp, etc etc), with pretty much no success. They're growing the way they want to, lol. So, this isnt anything to be concerned about?

Cakes are all solid white, and the smell doesn't indicate contam. The pictures pretty much show everything I can tell from it

Oh thank god, I was worried I'm going to go pick up a lizard light tomorrow, with a sun-bulb. Think that would work in place of the CFL? Have to go get lizard food for my geckos anyways, haha, so I figured I could take out 2 birds with one stone.

Yeah, like I said, I've been having problems with slow growth. Humidity is fine, and so is temp, so it may just be the strain. BHT doesn't get very large, but still, this is a little bit smaller than I'd have expected

That's what the current flush looks like. The middle cake was about 2 days behind the other two, so its lagging behind a little.

I'm fanning about once an hour while I'm awake. Been trying to stay diligent about it. Still learning since this is my first successful attempt at growing, so, I'm probobly not going about everything exactly perfect, haha.

Awesome! Another item to add on to the shopping list for walmart It'd be nice to have to do it a little less though. Thanks for the advice!

but try not to cut back on the fanning if u dont have to air exchange is crucial
while ur at walmart, you might think about picking up a fish air pump and have it constantly running fresh air into your chamber. it would go swell with that polyfill idea
