One Quart Bulk Tek

I have many quart jars of eq. I haved innoculated straw and earthworm castings with ok success. Usually between 30-40 grams comes.

If you only had one quart of spawn which bulk tek would you use. How much, where and when.

Forgive me but how much straw how much worm castings??
30-40 grams dry fresh.

i mix one quart spawn with 5 quarts pasturized earthworm castings wait 3 days then mix with 20 quarts straw and fill my 15 gallon rubbermaid, then tamp it down till 6 inches. no casing is required

I am ignorant about worm castings.
But you could stretch your substrate 6 inches is deep I use 10x20 trays about 2 inches of sub and sometimes I case and sometimes I don't (I use compost and straw) and get about the same results other than that if it works for you fuck what I say do it your way.

1 last question--is that a first flush or a total??

dude, something's not optimized. I've seen, i mean heard of, 90 gram flushes from same substrate, same tub.

well, actually they were cased, but that shouldn't make for that much difference on the first flush....hmm....
