and I quote Paul Stamets: "If it [the mushroom]has purple-brown spore prints and bruises blue, give it a try. Eat it."
he went as far to say that any purple-brown spore print with blue bruising are least wont be poison.
he said this in his talk at the psychedelic conference in Amsterdam, easilyy googled, within the last twenty minutes.
if it isn't Caerlipes it's likely another active species.
you give hope to the eastern woodlands.

Hey brother i know it was 13 months ago, but those look exactly like P. Caerulipes that grow natural to my region of southern ontario, CANADA. so i think you got what you think you got bro, Deffenitly the right area to find them they love the areas of wood, you can find them in forests on logs in southern ontario and half of the upper states below southern ontario. so i think you got em bro (:

Years, this thread is 13 years old. Also I think these mushrooms might be a blue Stropharia which is not a psychoactive species.

Wow, I've read this thread a few times in my years here. Cool, but yeah, probably a bluing Stropharia, probably not Psilocybe, definitely not Psilocybe caerulipes. These are caerulipes, and they look QUITE different

I just want the proper information spread, I don't want others to be be misinformed.
